Initially falling apart, this Chelsea terrace was completely gutted. Old wooden deck panels were replaced with maintenance-free aluminum decking. An outdoor TV and bio-ethanol fireplace found a home in custom-built cabinetry.
Modern fencing adds privacy to the space along with a tall evergreen hedge. An automatic awning covers the space to allow for protection from the elements while enjoying movies, or having a party.
The plant palette is limited in this small space, and the species are carefully selected to maximize seaosonal interest and fall color.
